Experience the true spirit of Kyrgyzstan on this 5-day horseback adventure through remote alpine landscapes, high mountain passes, and authentic nomadic pastures.

Starting from Kochkor, the journey takes you deep into the wild beauty of the Ters-Tor Valley, the stunning alpine lakes of Kol Ukok Lake and Kol Tor, the vast green meadows of Kilemche Jailoo, and finally to the legendary high-altitude pearl of the Tien Shan — Song Kol Lake.

You will ride alongside local horsemen, stay in traditional yurts, cross panoramic mountain passes over 3,400 meters, and experience genuine Kyrgyz nomadic hospitality.

This journey is not just a horse trek — it is an immersion into untouched nature, mountain silence, and centuries-old traditions.

Day 1: Kochkor – Isakeev – Kol Ukok Lake

Riding time: approx. 5 hours
Meals: Lunch (picnic en route), Dinner
Accommodation: Yurt (B&B)

In the morning, we pick you up from your guesthouse in Kochkor and transfer by car (approx. 30 minutes) to Isakeev village — the starting point of our horseback adventure.

Here, you will meet your guide, horsemen, and horses. After a short safety briefing and riding instructions, we begin our trek toward the stunning Kol Ukok Lake.

On the way, we pass through Ters-Tor Jailoo, known for its pure mountain air, crystal-clear streams, and beautiful alpine scenery. A picnic lunch will be arranged en route.

Upon arrival at the shepherd’s yurt near the lake, you will enjoy a traditional dinner and experience authentic nomadic hospitality.

Day 2: Kol Ukok Lake – Kol Tor Lake – Kochkor

Riding time: approx. 5–7 hours
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Mountain View Guesthouse (B&B)

After breakfast, we explore Kol Ukok Lake and continue riding higher into the mountains toward the second alpine lake — Kol Tor Lake (3,400 m).

Enjoy a scenic picnic at the lake surrounded by breathtaking mountain views.

After lunch, we ride back to the starting point and transfer to Kochkor.

Dinner and overnight stay in a cozy guesthouse.

Day 3: Kochkor – Kyzart Village– Kilemche Jailoo

Riding time: approx. 5 hours
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Yurt (B&B)

After breakfast, we transfer to the Jumgal Valley to the starting point of today’s ride, located below Kyzart Village.

Kilemche means “like a carpet,” perfectly describing its endless alpine meadows that resemble a traditional Kyrgyz felt carpet (shyrdak). From here, enjoy impressive views of the sacred 4,400 m Baba-Ata Mountain.

Dinner and overnight in a yurt.

Day 4: Kilemche – Jaman Echki (Song Kol Lake)

Riding time: approx. 5–6 hours
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Yurt Camp (B&B)

After breakfast, we continue our horseback trek toward the magnificent Song Kol Lake.

Today we cross Jalgyz Karagai Pass (3,400 m). From the top, enjoy panoramic views of the lake surrounded by endless pastures and mountains.

We descend to Jaman Echki area on the shores of Song Kol Lake, where we stay in a traditional yurt camp.

Dinner and overnight in a yurt camp.

Day 5: Song Kol Lake – Kalmak Ashuu Pass (3,446 m) – Kochkor

Transfer: approx. 3 hours (110 km)
Meals: Breakfast
Accommodation: Not included (can be arranged upon request)

After breakfast, you will have time for a relaxed horseback ride along the shore of Song Kol Lake and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the high-altitude lake.

Later, transfer back to Kochkor via Kalmak Ashuu Pass (3,446 m), offering beautiful panoramic mountain views along the way.

Arrival in Kochkor. Free time.
