Saturday, September 7 – Astana

Upon arrival in Astana, Kazakhstan's vibrant capital celebrated for its contemporary architecture and host to the 2024 World Nomad Games, you'll be greeted at the airport and transported to your hotel. After settling in, join the group for a welcome dinner where our local guide will introduce us to the exciting World Nomad Games. Overnight stay in Astana follows.

Sunday 8 September – Astana – World Nomad Games

Today marks a significant event as we will witness the spectacular Opening Ceremony of the World Nomad Games in Astana. Anticipate a dazzling display, distinguished officials, and an electrifying atmosphere. Overnight stay in Astana.

Monday 9 September – Astana – World Nomad Games

We begin our day with a tour of the historic old city, exploring its rich history and admiring notable examples of Russian Empire and USSR architecture. Later, we return to the World Nomad Games venue. Today's highlights include witnessing Qazaq Wrestling and Archery competitions. Overnight stay in Astana

Tuesday 10 September – Astana – World Nomad Games

We will start by visiting the futuristic EXPO-2017 Complex, home to the Nur Alem Museum of Future Energy. This complex showcases pavilions, exhibits, and events from participating countries, emphasizing their efforts in shaping a sustainable future. Prepare to encounter robots and experience the aero tube.

Next, we will visit the Hazrat Sultan Mosque, the largest mosque in Central Asia, followed by Nazarbayev University.

Later in the day, we return to the World Nomad Games venue.

Today's highlights include witnessing Mass-wrestling and Tug of War competitions.

Wednesday 11 September – Astana – World Nomad Games

Our day begins with a visit to an eagle hunter's family, where we learn about the care, upbringing, feeding, and training of eagles used for hunting.

Following this, we will indulge in a wine tasting featuring three types of white and three types of red wines from Kazakhstan, showcasing their excellent wine culture.

Highlighting our day, we return to the World Nomad Games 2024. Today's events include Asyk Atu, a thrilling game where two teams on horseback compete to throw a goat carcass into their opponent's goal, as well as Uzbek Wrestling.

Thursday 12 September – Astana – World Nomad Games

Highlighting our day, we immerse ourselves in the excitement of the Turkish Wrestling competition and Alysh (folk wrestling) at the World Nomad Games.

Friday 13 September – Astana – World Nomad Games

Highlighting our itinerary, we depart the capital to explore Kazakhstan's poignant history at the ALZhIR Museum-Memorial Complex, a former Soviet Gulag turned educational center.

Next, we visit the private museum of Berik Alibay. Following this, we will enjoy a traditional Kazakhstani lunch.

The evening offers free time to explore the city or unwind.

Saturday 14 September –Astana – World Nomad Games

You have the morning free to explore the city at your leisure or for any last-minute shopping.

Highlighting our day, we return to the World Nomad Games festival grounds for the closing ceremony.

We conclude our journey with a Kazakh farewell dinner.

Transfer to the airport for departure.
