Day 1 – Bishkek → Burana Tower → Chon Kemin

Driving: 3.5–4 hours
Accommodation: Zhekshen Guesthouse
Meals: Dinner

Pick-up from your hotel in Bishkek and start the journey toward the mountains. On the way we visit the Burana Tower, an important monument of the ancient Silk Road dating back to the 10th century.

Continue through the scenic Boom Gorge to reach the beautiful Chon Kemin Valley, surrounded by forests and mountains.

Dinner and overnight in a cozy mountain guesthouse.

Day 2 – Chon Kemin → Cholpon Ata → Chon Ak-Suu → Karakol

Driving: 5–6 hours
Accommodation: Altay Guest House
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Drive along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, the second-largest alpine lake in the world.

Visit the Cholpon Ata Petroglyph Museum, an open-air site with ancient stone carvings. Continue to Chon Ak-Suu Gorge (Grigorievka) for a short scenic hike.

Arrival in Karakol, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Karakol → Altyn Arashan Valley

Driving: 2 hours (off-road)

Transfer to the famous Altyn Arashan Valley by Soviet off-road jeep "Bukhanka".

This spectacular alpine valley is surrounded by mountains and spruce forests. Enjoy hiking in the valley and relax in the natural hot springs with views of Palatka Peak (5,020 m).

Dinner and overnight in a mountain guesthouse.

Day 4 – Altyn Arashan → Jeti-Oguz → Karakol

Driving: 2–3 hours

Return to Karakol and visit the Dungan Mosque and the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church.

In the afternoon drive to Jeti-Oguz Gorge, famous for its red rock formations called the Seven Bulls. Enjoy a walk in the beautiful Kok Jaiyk Valley.

Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight in Karakol.

Day 5 – Karakol → Barskoon → Skazka Canyon → Bokonbaevo

Driving: 4–5 hours

Travel along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake.

Visit Barskoon Gorge to see beautiful waterfalls, then explore Skazka Canyon (Fairytale Canyon) with its colorful rock formations shaped by wind and time.

Arrival in Bokonbaevo village, dinner and overnight in a guesthouse.

Day 6 – Bokonbaevo → Kochkor → Song-Kul Lake

Driving: 5–6 hours
Accommodation: Muras Yurt Camp

In the morning watch a traditional eagle hunting demonstration and try Kyrgyz archery.

Continue to Kochkor village to visit a local handicraft workshop.

Drive over Kalmak Ashuu Pass (3,400 m) to reach the spectacular Song-Kul Lake, the heart of Kyrgyz nomadic culture.

Dinner and overnight in a traditional yurt camp.

Day 7 – Song-Kul → Kok Moinok Canyon → Bishkek

Driving: 6–7 hours
Meals: Breakfast

Enjoy a 2-hour horseback ride along the shores of Song-Kul Lake.

Later drive toward Kok Moinok Canyon, where we take a short hike through dramatic desert landscapes.

Return to Bishkek via Boom Gorge. Arrival in the evening. End of the tour.
