and the hot springs of Altyn Arashan, this itinerary blends nature, culture, and

adventure.

Sleep in traditional yurts, ride horses through mountain landscapes, meet local

families, and experience the true spirit of Kyrgyz nomadic life.

Day 1 – Bishkek to Song-Kol Lake

Route: Bishkek → Kalmak Ashuu Pass → Song-Kol Lake

Accommodation:Muras Yurt Camp

Meals: Dinner

Morning departure from Bishkek and scenic drive through mountain landscapes

to Song-Kol Lake (3,016 m). Cross Kalmak Ashuu Pass and arrive at the

high-altitude lake surrounded by wide alpine meadows. Free time to relax and

explore. Dinner and overnight in a traditional yurt.

Day 2 – Song-Kol to Kel-Suu (Kok-Kiya Valley)

Route: Song-Kol → Naryn → Kok-Kiya Valley

Accommodation:Kezgin Guest House

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast, drive toward the remote Kel-Suu region. The journey takes you

through Naryn and across wild highland landscapes. Arrival in Kok-Kiya Valley.

Rest and preparation for the next day’s horseback adventure.

Day 3 – Horseback Riding to Kel-Suu Lake

Route: Kok-Kiya Valley → Kel-Suu Lake → Kok-Kiya Valley

Accommodation:Kezgin Guest House

Meals: Breakfast,Dinner

Full-day horseback ride to the spectacular Kel-Suu Lake (3,500 m). Surrounded

by towering cliffs, the lake offers breathtaking scenery. Enjoy a picnic by the lake

before returning to the camp in the afternoon.Optionally possible to take a boat

ride

Day 4 – Kel-Suu Region to Kochkor

Route: Kok-Kiya Valley → Naryn → Kochkor

Accommodation:Mountain View Guest House

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast, we drive from the remote Kel-Suu region toward Kochkor village,

passing through scenic mountain roads and wide steppe landscapes along the

way. Upon arrival in Kochkor, we visit a local women’s felt-making cooperative,

where you will learn about traditional Kyrgyz felt craftsmanship and watch a

demonstration of how handmade carpets (shyrdaks) are created. In the evening,

we enjoy dinner featuring local homemade dishes and spend the night in a cozy

guesthouse.

Day 5 – Kochkor, Ak-Sai Canyon & Bokonbaevo

Route: Kochkor → Ak-Sai Canyon → Bokonbaevo

Accommodation:Bel Tam Yurt Camp

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Visit Ak-Sai Canyon (Forgotten Rivers) for a short hike among dramatic rock

formations. Continue to Bokonbaevo village on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul

Lake. Upon arrival, experience a traditional yurt-building demonstration, where

you will learn about the structure, symbolism, and craftsmanship of the Kyrgyz

nomadic home. Overnight stay in a local guesthouse.

Day 6 – Skazka Canyon, Barskoon & Karakol

Explore the colorful rock formations of Skazka (Fairytale) Canyon. In this area,

experience a traditional eagle hunting demonstration, where you will learn about

the ancient nomadic practice of hunting with golden eagles and their important

role in Kyrgyz culture. Continue to Barskoon Gorge for a short hike to the

waterfall. Afterward, drive along the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake to Karakol

for overnight stay.

Day 7 – Karakol to Altyn Arashan

Route: Karakol → Altyn Arashan (off-road transfer)

Accommodation:Elza Guest House(hut)

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Transfer by Soviet off-road jeep to Altyn Arashan Valley. Relax in natural hot

springs and enjoy alpine scenery. Overnight in a mountain guesthouse.

Day 8 – Altyn Arashan to Chon Kemin via Chon Ak-Suu Valley

Route: Altyn Arashan → Karakol → Chon Ak-Suu → Chon Kemin

Accommodation: Zhekshen Guesthouse

Meals: Breakfast, Dinner

Return from Altyn Arashan and drive along Issyk-Kul Lake through Chon Ak-Suu

Valley. On the way, we stop at a designated swimming area along the shore of

Issyk-Kul Lake, where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing swim (weather

permitting). Afterward, continue to Chon Kemin Valley. Dinner and overnight in a

cozy mountain guesthouse.

Day 9 – Chon Kemin to Bishkek

Route: Chon Kemin → Boom Gorge → Bishkek

Accommodation: My Hotel

Meals: Breakfast

Morning departure to Bishkek via Boom Gorge. Arrival in the capital city and end

of the tour.
